In our commitment to improving treatment outcomes and reducing suffering and stigma for those who suffer and their families members, NEABPD spearheaded the GAP Initiative, the Global Alliance for Prevention and Early Identification for Borderline Personality Disorder. GAP includes a growing number of international partners including Yale University and Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital who are committed to advancing awareness of prevention, early intervention and treatment.

This conference is aimed at mental health professionals, training clinicians and researchers, as well as those with lived BPD experience and their family members. Presentations are designed to make cutting edge research and practice accessible to both professionals and lay audience members, and ample time is provided for questions from the audience throughout the conference day.
